    Guys,
I put together an IROC Porsche setup for Zandvoort. If you don't have the track, No Grip has it: http://www.nogripracing.com/files.php?subcat=51

    IROC Porsche Zandvoort.svm

I can get a 2:05 time but can do better once I get used to driving a car that has four Hippity-Hops for tires.

Just did some testing at Westwood. The IROC Porsche is a wobbly beast. There are a lot of settings that can't be changed, including some of the most important ones, like power and coast and preload. Here's a setup I developed to be as stable as possible on this narrow track. I'm not a great setup person, but perhaps this can serve as a base for tweaking.

Here is my first attempt for a Westwood setup, managed consistant 1:14's with a best of 1:13.608

One thing to check with the IROC cars, there are some supposedly "historically correct" setups for the IROCs that come with P&G 2. They should be sitting in your GTR2 root folder after installing P&G 2. They are named:

    IROC_street.svm
    IROC_base.svm
    IROC_evo1.svm
    IROC_evo2.svm

I think the P&G documentation explain each of the setups (the setups evolved throughout the season. The real IROC series required all drivers to use the same fixed setup.)

I don't have P&G currently installed on my computer, so I can't give you any more details, but I'll get it installed this weekend.

Phil, I love your setup, you should consider posting this setup for direct download in the setups sections of the forums. I turned a best of 1:14.1xx with it and really like the way it feels. The car is certainly a tough challenge to drive, but as I get used to it, your setup is helping. Thanks for sharing it -- David

Sure. I'm no setup expert, that's for sure. But I've been using the very helpful Guida_GTR2 that I've seen mentioned on other forums here at CMS. It's a step by step guide that really helps me zero in on a stable setup.

    Glad mine worked for you.

Default Road Atlanta 1970 - IROC Porsche

It's a bit squirrely on the outlap, but it gets better after about a lap and a half. PB 1:25.449 in race trim. Enjoy.
