Default Time Trail: June - Assetto Corsa - Feldbergring - Porsche 908LH

Once again we're going historic. We're going to Taunus, Germany, for the Feldbergring.

A track used throughout the 20s and 30s, it features 11km (~7 miles) of public roads, with lots of elevation changes, some very fast sections, and a very tricky section through the village Ober-Reifenberg.

    Requirements:
Car: Porsche 908LH, DLC: Porsche Pack #3
Track: Feldbergring, Mod: get it Here

Times have to be set on a server. (Thanks Lilski for providing the server)
    Name: CMS Monthly Hotlap Server
    Password: cmstt

If the server does not show up for you make sure you have the car and track installed correctly, and check your filters in the server browser.

This looks interesting. Don't remember ever driving the circuit, so this should be fun!

[Edit: The track diagram looks familiar, as do some of the screenshots, and now I think I remember it from rF1. Still looking forward to it.]

If there was an rF1 version, I cannot seem to find it, or any video of anyone using it.
As far as I can tell, only this AC version exists, but who knows....

I did a few laps at the track last night. It's a blast, the scenery is great, the environment believable and immersive. (It's actually reignited the spark I've had for a while know to learn to build a track in AC. Seeing what can be done with country scenery and such, my imagination is going wild with something I've wanted to do for a while, so again pursuing that) .....so good it doesn't seem like a mod. Easy to forget it is.

I foresee me doing quite a few laps, and the car choice is perfect. Last night I was using the Ferrari 312/67, wild little car for this place.

Hopefully some good numbers will give this a go, interested to see what our times look like over the course this event!
    Thanks for hosting, Brian!

ETA: Ah, cool, it's up on a server. Thanks, Lilski!

I don't recognize the name at all, but the map does look familiar. My guess would be it had a very different name in rF1 (assuming there was a version then), but I can't see any way you could search on that. Maybe look over track maps based on the country? That's about all I can think of.

Followup edit: I looked through a few old circuits at rfactor central, focused on "temporary" and "Europe," but didn't find the one I remembered...so maybe this is new (old actually ). Memory can be a funny thing when it isn't "flash"...and mine certainly isn't.

Did install the track and got onto the server and into the car with no problem, so once I DO fix (minor re-engineering required, I think) my brake, I should be good to go. Newest goal for that is Saturday...blah blah blah. You've heard it all before.

You'll know I got it fixed when you see a posted laptime.

To my knowledge this is the first time this road/circuit has ever been put in any sim.

Great track! Put a few laps in this morning, admittedly using the ideal racing line. I know, faux pas, but that is how I tend to start learning tracks. First use of Thrustmaster TH8A shifter in a long time. Thoroughly enjoyed the car/track combo!

    Good time there, I suspect.

Any word on how long this event is open? I might have missed that part....
