Vern,
Your rfactor is probably already outputting the results file, and I can post something on the tool we use to parse it. No PMing would be needed.

I like the idea of teaching folks how to extract the info from rfactor on their own system. Same goes for replays. For races it makes sense to post "official" results and replays, but for DDP local copies should do fine. And knowing how to leverage these features in rFactor could be handy for offline practices too.
I like the idea of metrics being posted, I almost always watch the video and try to see where I did things well and where I sucked! I then go back to the track and work on the areas that I need to improve on. Having the results will give me another tool to use in evaluating my progress, something I cannot do without some form of hard data. It may be that we post the results and label them as "DDP Session Metrics" .vs. "Results."
I think the focus of the DDP should be on learning and data analysis should be reserved for individual practice.
So where do you draw the line? It's really fun to be able to laugh and poke fun at each other during these sessions and you would never do that in a real race. I vote no. Keep it light and simple and let us focus on what counts. Car control and learning from the best.
I do like to be able to see the replays to revisit those important lessons we learned. Like seeing Vern on his roof for example...:-)
