Default Possible Future DDP topic: Improving computer performance with rfactor/ES mod.

Paul H. and I thought it would be a good topic for the DDP to discuss the procedures and options for setting up optimal computer performance in rFactor and with the rFactor/ES mod dance.

The session could give pointers to optimally setting up the in-game graphics and sound settings, the PLR file, and based on your system, maybe even help with specific GPU control panel setups.

If we put our heads together, we can make the ES mod one of the best venues that has ever happened to sim racing!

    I know I would attend!!!

Steering wheel setups might be a good one to add to that. Sensitivity and rate levels to match what type of car your driving.... stuff like that.

Thanks David and Scott for your input. Scott, I think steering setups would be a great one to add. My partner Tony Smith introduced me to a steering setting in the PLR file yesterday which helps in slow, sharp turns. I think it saved me numerous times at the El Pot Error track today.

I changed my PLR and rates about 5 months ago and have not changed them again as the settings I have within my profiler together are perfect. High speed tracks to sharp twisty tracks. My main concern is learning how to go fast each week, not on lock to lock thankfully!

If I can help anyone just give me a shout

Thanks guys. Good input and support here. I hope the DDP can put something together on this. I personally cannot do any presentation because my voice box would put me in much pain. But I certainly would like to participate in this topic.

I wasn't talking about lock to lock, I was refering to the rates under "controller settings".
