    The CMS Driver Development Program presents:
    Learning the Racing Line with Troy Dalton
    Tuesday Feb. 21 at 9 p.m. Eastern, Hallett Motor Racing Circuit in the DDP Spec Miatas


    Let's take a lap around Hallett:



    And here's a track map. We will be driving *clockwise* for this session.

    SpecMiata 2.2 Patch with DDP Required Patch note the file placement on the patch
    Tracks: Simple, club-type tracks
    --->Install this trackpack to locations directory
    --->Use the self-installer for VLM Sebring track

    Schedule:
    (All times are U.S. Eastern time)
    8:00 PM – 9:00 PM = Open Practice
    9:00 PM – 9:30 PM = Classroom (Instructor Presentation, Roundtable, etc)
    9:30 PM – 10:00 PM = Practice
    10:00 PM – 10:15 PM = Race Qualifying
    10:15 PM – 10:20 PM = Race Warm Up
    10:20 PM – 10:40 PM = Race 1
    10:45 PM – 11:05 PM = Race 2 (Reverse Qualifying Order)
    11:05 PM – ? = Post Race Discussion

    We had a great turnout and a great time at our opening class at Birmingham and things will only get better. You'll not only have fun, you'll learn something and become a better racer.

    This is totally up my alley, but, sadly, I can't make it. Will the classroom session be captured in any way, shape or form?

    There will be some classroom materials made available prior to the session...also, maybe we can record the session via T/S

    Here is a companion document for tonight's lecture. It's not mandatory that you have it, but wouldn't hurt. The document contains information relating to both the Basic and Advanced Racing Line courses. We will only be covering the basic section tonight.

    Thanks, Paul! I use openoffice from Sun, it's compatible and free! Anyone should be able to dl online, if you don't have MS office.

    I sure hope to make this one. I have a dinner engagement, but will definitely try to make it by 7p my time.
