Default Any interest in "happy hour" sessions before races?

We still don't have anything in place for organized DDP sessions but in the past, we have held "happy hour" practice and chat sessions before events where people can get some laps in with fellow racers and have a chance to ask questions and get advice.

I was thinking that we could get together on Tuesday evenings at the regular race time -- 10 pm Eastern -- for the NA Division and maybe Thursday or Friday afternoon at the regular WD race time of 3 pm Eastern.

If you have any suggestions about format, different times or anything else, please post.

    Thanks!

It would be like a rehearsal for the race -- everyone would be driving their regular cars.

Paul, I think it would be an awesome idea. Would you be willing to help coordinate in the way of making sure the sessions were up, etc? I think this would promote working together, sharing and an overall collaboration that I think is good. - thanks for the suggestion. - we could use it as an informal sponsorship of the DDP to help improve our races, etc. Not that they are bad by any means, I think our races are generally great, but we can always continue to learn and grow as a group.

Like the idea. If anybody is interested I may offer my experience on the cars to anyone too, also could give advise on racing-line, setup (as far as I know what to do, hehe) and answering questions to anyone who asks .

I wouldn't call myself that fast, just have nough confidence in my car and my driving line to be able to finish a race without any trouble, lapping consistently etc. But however, no question that I want to help when I can .

Only one thing... it isn't a guarantee that you get any faster just by listening to my stupid words
