Default CMS DRCC S4E2: Rockchip Rally

The second rally in the Champion Motorsports Dirt Rally Club Championship is an event that will take us from the damp forests of Wales to the dusty mountains of Greece, then we will Finnish (heh, get it?) in the wide fast roads of Finland.

Each leg has four long stages between service parks, so managing the car should be a factor.

Very tidy run given the amount of commitment there.

First 4 stages done. Pretty happy with them 2 small incidents and a puncture were the only issues.

Still don't think it will be fast enough for a podium this time around. Damage done in Wales...

Still. The Opel does put a huge smile on my face so not all bad!

Drove all stages today. Alot of complaining from codriver on greek stages that car was not running so good. And after a heavy crashes on first stage finland he said that radiator was leaking. Much fluid in radiator so it seems.Well three stages with "limp home mode". First driver to get to the end. On some stages I got good speed at this rally. But overall results destroyed by way to many mistakes.

Good luck and drive safe. Not many services to repair car.

A showcase about what is currently wrong with Dirt Rally, and hopefully when Dirt 4 come we will think back and laugh about it!
What happened on stage 2: At the downhill by the hairpin near the finish straight by Sweet Lamb.

Jumped into the shoulder with the left side of the car (photo 1), and it jumped and rolled 5 times before stopping. Lost 10-12 secs there.
Second photo shows where I landed, and third photo where I turned the car and exited.
Here is photos from stage 3: Near the end of Geufron Forest.

In the fast jumping section I rotated left instead of right in the air, and couldn't correct it and ended in the trees.
A puncture slowed me down as a result.

Stage 4. Bronfelen, at the first left hand turn after start!
Here I couldn't upload photo, but came in the inner part of the turn and onto the shoulder, and got a rotation to the right by some unbelievable force that sent me into the opposite bank where the car rolled over and came down on it's wheels luckily and continued after only 5-6 secs.

Should have had video's by all this, but forgot to record

    * Rotation: Meaning the rotation around the vertical axis of the car. Turning the car left and right if any doubt!
