    That was fun!
Had a great run w/ Devon...bumped into him (sorry) ...let him go ahead and then he bobbled and I took off
Next thing I know I'm in heavy traffic and here comes Devon again!
I stood on the gas and I guess he got caught up in traffic.
Thanks For racing guys..next weeks track is a little easier in some respects but the Capri is a sled at this one, lots of turns and not very long straits to use my HP.

Well, I was having a blast until lap20. I'd managed to battle my way up to 6th place which I was really, really happy with in the underpowered Capri RS2600. But then I got stung for a third cut lap (which I most strongly deny!), was required to do a stop/go which I couldn't figure out how to do and got disqualified. Absolutely gutted!

Apart from that mess I had a real great time driving with you folks, and I'm really looking forward to next week.

    Cheers,
    Steve

yeah, that was a blast...thx for organizing!!

shame about the cut track areas on that circuit, it really is a fun track otherwise. I had racked up two warnings before I got disco'd

Hey guys, sorry I missed the race and the chance to get DQ'D!! It's been a long week, and I nodded off on the sofa watching TV before the race.

Hope to be there next week!

hey does anyone know if it's possible to get a replay with the rpm/steering/gear changes working, incar view?

also too bad the NPC cars are so jerky on the replays...

Thanks again to Bob for helping me out.

My Vette was a cheetah on the straights but a pig in the turns although I thought my brakes were, uh, um, rabbity? I got into Mike T., sorry again, if anyone could have seen me trying to not hit him it would have given them a laugh I am sure, was on the brakes hard then I realised I was not going to scrub off enough speed so I got REALY on them...pushed my chair back and my wheel almost came all the way off the desk! I waited for Mike to get in front of me again but by that time he was way down the charts. Later I flubbed the same turn again and as I was trying to keep it on the track Mike hit me in such a perfect way that it killed my engine, how he knew the perfect spot to hit I don't know Watched the rest of the race and it sure looked cool with the different cars going at it.
I was watching umma and his car seemed to be more laggy than others and in fact I saw a few instances where his car would lag (stay in one spot) and the following cars got into him, I'm sure from past experience that umma was totally unaware of it though.
As for guys getting black flags and not being able to clear them, the best way to figure out stuff like that is to do all kinds of "bad" things in off-line racing and that should help you to know what to do.
    Looking forward to next Thursday!

Was umma in the red Corvette? That car was fair dancing all over the place. I was behind him for a couple of laps and it was a nightmare working out where the car actually was. I think I hit him once as well, 'cause he just teleported in front of me! Then the next thing I know, he's parked vertically up the pit wall. If that was me who did that, then I'm really sorry - but I must admit to being kinda relived to get away from him.
