Dedicated Server

I'd be willing to take care of this for a month to see if it helps. I really think it's the only way to try this sim out. If it doesn't work then we've answered the question and I'm only out a few dollars. I think most of us really like the sim and we need to know if it's something we want to continue with. Only problem with me is I know nothing about setting this stuff up so if we agree to try it someone will have to look after it, like I mentioned, I'll pay for the first month just to see then if we want to continue we will figure it out after that.

I know the sim works flawlessly..just like rFactor because I race GTR2 in the NoGrip league..so I've seen it first hand.
Tom D. is trying his connection out for us right now..but if that doesn't work then maybe this would be a way to go

I wanted to run Tuesday but I somehow managed to get the flu. I went ahead and worked M,T and yesterday but I'm paying for it today(home in bed..or couch). I'll hopefully be ready for Tuesdays race.

I would Be willing to go in Half with you on the dedicated server. I have been looking and looking but I couldn't find any dedicated GTR2 servers out there. PM me with the details and I will send you some money via paypal or a check.

If anyone wants to pitch in, thats cool, if not, I am not worried about it. I will chalk it up as a learning experience. I have never rented a dedicated server and I am in the IT business, so Its nice to know how that process works. Once I get all the details on the server I will post them up.

i am new around here but have been playing gtr2 for a week now. most of the races online that i been in have been ruined by people just crashing in to you and thinking its really funny. So i would have no problem helping out with some payment towards it if it gives me access to some good close racing.

I will post the server information up once I get home and get it set up. There are lots of things I need to configure and upload to the server. I think the server is up right now with the name "Champion Motorsports" but I don't know what track it is running and you wont be able to use any add-on cars because i haven't loaded any yet. The password is the same as VOR's. If anyone is home and wants to give it a try, let me know if it works.
