    Default A Couple Thoughts

I know that were not keeping points so this is more of a saftey thought then competition thought(s).

Fuel-I know some will be carrying heavy fuel while others will have less fuel..im just wondering if we should declare our fuel load before the race? The reason being lets say you have a bad qualifing session and want to run light on fuel to make up some time.If someone in front of you is heavy on fuel they're gonna hold you up which possibly can cause a wreck.Paitience is a virtue yes,but everyone loses it eventually...specially when you have a fast car

Starts-I dont know if my timing is that good or what but out of the last 10 races,8 of them Ive had to check up from smacking into someone in front of me,which of course can cause a chain reaction behind me.Ive figured out that its a mixture of things that play into it.Yes im decent on starts but also i dont run an auto clutch,so when i hit the gas its an automatic go,unlike with the auto clutch where theres a delay and less spin on the tires.Im just wondering if there should be a mandatory auto clutch on for starts...or rather we should also declare if were running an auto clutch or no clutch?

Like I said I dont have competition on my mind but its more of a saftey thought to prevent early wrecks and damage.

Well..I think everyone is going to have a full tank because at the "3x fuel usage" setting it takes almost 2 full tanks to go 28 laps.
This league has always done a fairly decent job on starts...there is the option of a "Rolling Start" which I have always preferred.
With a "Rolling Start" we would be spread out a little more in a single line and also our tires would have a little heat in them.
It's up to y'all..what ever you guys think

Lets do rolling starts, It would be different and might make for a smoother turn 1.

I love standing starts. Rolling starts spread the field much more and tends to cause excessive speed into T1 thereby making it very hard to judge just how much earlier you need to brake to avoid the accordian effect. Brake too early and you're likely to get smacked in the ass; too late and you cause a pile-up by hitting someone else's ass.

I also think standing starts are simply more fun. Turn your car upon start as if you're expecting the car in front to not even move and you seldom have a problem. I usually pass at least 1 car at start and havn't more than lightly bumped another car.

I'm a standing start kinda guy too.

I also like it when you have to run to the car at the start... but I'm not sure how we can do that here.
